Here at The Tea Trove, our goal is to deliver your order in the quickest and most economical way possible. Our items are carefully packed so they arrive undamaged and ready for enjoyment. If you are unsatisfied with your products we will gladly issue a store credit for your purchase price, excluding shipping charges, on merchandise except tea samples returned to us within 30 days of delivery.
Orders received before noon IST (Indian Standard Time) usually ship out the same business day. Orders received after this time generally leave the next business day.
We ground ship primarily with FedEx but also use First flight for Express shipment within India. Transit time is 2-7 days. Once your order ships, a FedEx OR First Flight tracking number will be emailed to you.
Shipments outside India are made with FedEx International Priority. Express service FedEx takes up to 5-7 working days for delivery. Please note that our delivery partner, FedEx does not deliver The Tea Trove orders on Saturday or Sundays.
Certain pin codes lying in remote areas are sent through EMS Speed Post Airmail instead of Express Courier as they attract a very high extra charge. In such rare cases, customers are informed through mail within 48 hours of placing an order.
If you have items in the shopping cart, we'll also provide the exact cost of shipping these.COD is available in India . COD facility is not available for shipments outside India.
Return & Claim Policy:
All items except tea samples are guaranteed up to 30 days of receipt for store credit. If you are unsatisfied with your products we will gladly issue a store credit for your purchase price, excluding original shipping charges. If you're returning opened tea packages or teaware items that can't be resold, we'll be imposing a 40% disposal fee to cover the costs involved. We advise trying sample sizes before buying large quantities of any tea. To access mailing directions, please visit the returns and claims section of your account page and select the eligible items you wish to return.
If an item arrives damaged or an item was shipped to you incorrectly due to company error, we will swiftly send you a replacement. Please visit the returns and claims section of your account page and indicate that the item was damaged or you received an incorrect item and that you’d like a replacement. We will provide a FedEx return label, and once the damaged item or incorrect item is received, will gladly ship you a replacement.
Canceling an order:
Change your mind? Canceling your order is a piece of cake. Visit the order history page in your account. You will see a listing of recent orders with the 'click to cancel' option next to each that has yet to be processed.
If the status of your order says 'processing,' then unfortunately the order is beyond cancellation. It had already been boxed up and moved to our shipping dock.
Minimum order must be for $9 to avail of free delivery to any designated address in India.
Orders for shipment outside India, including CIS (including Russia) and South America for $69 or more qualify for free express shipping. However, this promotion may not be combined with others, including our Frequent Cups points. As such, Frequent Cups or other promotional certificates do not count towards the total required to earn free shipping.
Please note that no special offers, discounts or coupon codes apply to Auto-delivery purchases or shipping.
Coupon Codes cannot be applied to the purchase of gift certificates.
Incorrect and old addresses
If you make a mistake in entering an address within India that requires a correction, we'll gladly contact Fedex on your behalf. However, they services charge an Rs.300 fee for intercepting a package already in transit, an amount we regretfully must pass on to you. To prevent this, please double check your order before submitting and please remove from your account any addresses which are no longer valid. This will prevent you from selecting them in error. Unfortunately, you can't change the address once its been dispatched for shipment outside India.
